Cancer Neurotechnology Lab

About & contact

About the lab

The Cancer Neurotechnology Lab studies how gliomas interact with the brain’s electrical and physicochemical environment. We develop neural interfaces and combine electrophysiology, electrochemistry, impedance, spectroscopy and computational analysis to build more informative descriptions of living tissue.

The group is led by Dr Romeo R. Rácz at Imperial College London, where he is an Advanced Research Fellow in the Faculty of Medicine. The lab’s work is supported by the Brain Tumour Research Campaign as a dedicated translational research programme.

The official Imperial College London profile is the authoritative source for Dr Rácz’s institutional title, department, contact details and publication record.

Support and translational context

The programme has received support through the Brain Tumour Research Campaign. Dr Rácz’s translational work has also taken part in programmes including Imperial’s MedTech SuperConnector, Cancer Research Horizons’ Oncology Development Programme and the Brain Tumour Research Novel Therapeutics Accelerator of the Tessa Jowell Brain Cancer Mission. Taking part in these programmes is not product endorsement, clinical validation or regulatory approval.

If you would like to help, see how to support the research.
